Wild Rift Patch 3.5 Update: New champions, Item or Gameplay changes and more
Riot Games' developers are introducing the Power Spike Patch in Wild Rift with the release of Patch 3.5. Along with three new champions, there will be numerous new skins to collect and numerous gameplay changes (major or minor). A new event will be added to the game, bringing the most recent Spirit Blossom skinline to the game. There will be a new game mode called All for One, which will change the mechanics for selecting a champion.
Wild Rift Patch 3.5 Update: New champions
Aatrox
The Darkin Blade, Aatrox, is making his way to the Rift. He could be introduced in Tank and Fighter, both of which have previously appeared in League of Legends PC. Aatrox worked wonders in Baron Lane and appears to have a significant impact on the Wild Rift battlefield as well.
Kayn
Kayn is also one of the three new champions introduced in the Rift. The Shadow Reeper is a jungler assassin with two build options: Blue or Red Kayn.
Lillia
Lilia is introduced in the Rift in the Patch 3.5 cycle, with her set of abilities, speed, and damage. Lilia, the jungle, can deal AoE damage at breakneck speed.
Wild Rift Patch 3.5 Update: Gameplay changes
ꔷ The Rift has received numerous gameplay changes that will significantly alter gameplay. These changes should better suit players and have a positive impact on the entire player community.
ꔷ Buff Sharing: Players should be able to use the Buff Sharing Mechanic as of this patch. Blue and red buffs are extremely powerful tools that can cause unnecessary conflict among teammates over who should get them. After a short period of time in the game, players who defeat the Brambleback or Sentinel will drop an instant buff that other players can obtain by approaching the buff circle. Because there will now be twice as many benefits for your team, the Evolved versions of Red and Blue boosts will be removed.
ꔷ Conservation: There is a brand-new perk designed specifically for junglers called "Conservation." This accumulates over time as players interact with the game and can be exchanged for gold by defeating a large monster. This buff is intended to provide natural guidance for junglers on how to balance ganking and farming. If players commit to one of them, they may miss out on the extra gold.
ꔷ Smite: The Challenging Smite, or Red Smite, is being removed due to a low pick rate among Junglers. The developers are currently working on how the Smite Upgrade works. It will level up based on how many times it has been used versus how many monsters it has killed. As a result, the time it takes to upgrade will become more consistent across games. Furthermore, both base and upgraded Smite deal a fixed amount of damage to monsters rather than scaling based on your champion level.
ꔷ Jungle Monsters: The developers have changed the jungle monsters' general stats and behavior. This should make overall clear times faster. Players should have a better chance of surviving monsters, especially in the early clears. Finally, the developers want Junglers to be able to plan their next steps without having to worry so much about surviving their initial clears.
Wild Rift Patch 3.5 Update: Item and Enchant changes
A few Item and Enchant changes will be introduced in the new update.
ꔷ Horizon Focus: When a champion is hit by a skill shot from afar, the opponent gains stacks. Additional stacks will be added by crowd control attacks. It will accumulate to the point where the developers can eat them and cause additional damage.
ꔷ Lord Dominik's Regards: The initial assault against a champion will have improved Attack Speed, after players have been out of combat with other champions for a short while.
ꔷ Soulstealer: On defeating enemy champions, Soulstealer's new passive ability, Soulflare, will shorten the cooldown for all basic abilities. Additionally, for a short while later, the players will have more Ability Power.
ꔷ Phase Rush: These items work in the same way as before, by hitting a champion with three separate attacks or abilities, and they still grant Move Speed, but instead of Slow Resist, the current cooldowns are reduced, and you gain Ability Haste for a short period of time.
ꔷ Sudden Impact: When a player leaves stealth or uses a dash, blink, or teleport to deal damage to an opponent champion, they will gain Adaptive Penetration. Champion will be replaced by Sudden Impact.
Wild Rift Patch 3.5 Update: New Game mode, Ranked changes and more
New Game Mode
Players on a team will vote for a champion to play in the new Champion Select mode. The champion chosen by majority vote will be the one against whom the team will compete. Random selection is used to break ties. This mode is known as the All For One Game Mode, and it will be available as part of the Patch 3.5 Update.
Ranked Changes
Based on a player's champion Mastery score, the developers have added a new gate for Legendary Queue. It will only allow a player to select champions for which they have a high enough Mastery score. If players want to try out a new champion in Legendary Queue, the developers must first gain some experience in another queue.
Super Villain Jhin
Jhin, the Super Villain, will be available in the Patch 3.5 Update. When a player reaches Level 50 of the Wild Pass, they can claim the skin. The Ascended skin can be obtained by playing games and collecting it from the Wild Pass Emporium.
Wild Rift Patch 3.5 Update: Spirit Blossom Event and new skins
New Event: Spirit Blossom Event
In this event, players will travel to a small town in the spirit world to complete missions that will allow them to summon a random spirit. Riot Games will launch a seasonal Snowball Fight in which players can test their aim and collect rewards.
