Undead Horde 2: Necropolis: 10tons's upcoming RPG-RTS hybrid set to release globally in 2023

The Finnish indie game studio 10tons has announced Undead Horde 2: Necropolis, an upcoming RPG-RTS hybrid. The game is a sequel to their popular Undead Horde. The studio plans to release an early access version of Undead Horde 2: Necropolis in late 2022, followed by a full version the following year.

Undead Horde 2: Necropolis will be playable on PCs, current-gen consoles, and upcoming consoles. A mobile game version will be released a few months after the primary target platforms. The studio will reveal the release date as well as the game's details at a later date.

Undead Horde 2: Necropolis will feature bigger maps, a new gameplay system, and exciting features

The first game in the Undead Horde series was released in 2019. The action RPG was one of the studio's best-selling titles, inspiring the team to do well for the next installment. When compared to the previous one, the players will notice some updates and improvements. Undead Horde 2 project leader Sampo Töyssy stated that players will have more control over their experience and will be able to customize the makeup of their armies to suit their preferences.

Players in Undead Horde 2: Necropolis begin the game as a zombie monarch whose city has been devastated by a terrible onslaught of the living. It's time to use the army of summoned undead to retake and rebuild their territory, Necropolis.

Players will be able to level up and command over 100 legions of the undead in order to save Necropolis. On the quest to save the zombie souls, players will need to unlock new abilities, upgrades, and powers. Another intriguing feature is the Raise Wheel, which allows players to raise and add any army class to their army.
