Teamfight Tactics Mid-Set Update

Riot Games' super popular auto-chess battler Teamfight Tactics, based on the equally popular League of Legends property, has announced its next big mid-set update, entitled The Dragonlands: Uncharted Realms, due out on September 8th. With the addition of a ton of new mechanics in this update, such as augments, venues, and qualities, Teamfight Tactics now seems even more novel and special.

We've got this fresh augment to start with. The Draconic augment was released after the Gizmos and Gadgets update. With the release of The Dragonlands: Uncharted Realms, this augment has undergone some revisions and now enables players to command a five-dragon army that also contains new Tier 3 Dragon units and cost reductions. A brand-new TFT unique unit named Sohm will also be added along with Nomsy and Swain being upgraded to tier-3 units, providing Draconic gamers with a ton of new options for team-building.

Every TFT match includes a PvE round that used to be against a specific type of dragon troop. The Order Treasure Dragon and the Chaos Treasure Dragon have been added to the Treasure Round. Chaos drops various, unpredictable objects, drawing from the entire loot table. On the other hand, Order only drops Radiant items, enhancing the strength of the entire lobby.

With all of these changes, Teamfight Tactics' meta is surely gonna change in some dramatic ways, which is excellent news for any veteran players who may feel that using the same tactic in every game might get boring. Naturally, a new meta means choosing new combinations of units to compose a perfect team, so be prepared to learn the battlefield all over again and figure out exactly what works well with what.
