The MTV VMAs, which honor the year's top music videos, will include a new category in 2022 called Best Metaverse Performance.

Blackpink returned to PUBG Mobile with a special track and music video

The unique audio-visual event that took place over two weekends in July captivated the entire world. The in-game event also featured the debut of a brand-new special song, Ready For Love, as well as virtual performances of BLACKPINK's biggest hits. The collaboration resulted in the creation of a music video, which has since received over 151 million views.

Members of Blackpink are transported into recognizable PUBG Mobile settings in Ready For Love, including the island of Erangel, the Sanhok Rainforest, the Miramar Desert, the Vikendi Ice Fields, and a sea of flowers in Livik.

To fully immerse viewers in the PUBG Mobile world, the film incorporates popular game elements such as airdrops, helmets, planes, and bullets. Fans can now watch the full "Ready For Love" music video on the official YouTube pages of BLACKPINK and PUBG MOBILE.

As part of the collaboration, the BLACKPINK X PUBG Mobile special track Ready For Love music video was released, and it has been viewed over 146 million times since its release. The video marks BLACKPINK's first appearance in avatar form in a music video, as well as PUBG Mobile's first collaboration with artists on a music video featuring virtual images.
