How to Power Up Characters in MementoMori

MementoMori is the latest AFK Role Playing Game or Idle RPG to hit the Play Store and App Store. While in the tainted world, as you look to level up and move ahead, you will require a lot of items and resources. Here, MuMu Player will tell you how to power up your characters in this game. 

MementoMori: AFKRPG is a complete PvE-only game where players can play without worrying about competing with other players. Hence, progressing through the main story stages is the biggest difficulty many players will face in the initial months. One thing is for sure, players are gated by the amount of resources they can obtain through the AFK rewards. There is no option for auto-repeat or grinding any stage or dungeon for more resources. 

More than having a tactical formation, players should focus on forming a formation of 5 of their strongest Witches. The total power of your entire team can be seen at the top left-hand side before starting any match. Here are the different methods to empower your witches:

• Leveling Up
• Awaken
• Equipment

Leveling Up is one of the best ways to increase the overall strength of your witches without worrying about any consequences. Leveling up your witches directly enhances their base stats such as Health, Defense, Attack, Speed, and more. These stats are core to the witch as many of the skill damage multipliers are based on the percentage of these stats. For example, Fenrir's 2nd active ability deals damage to all enemies based on 350% of her Attack stat. Hence, the higher this Attack stat, the more damage she will deal with her skill. Players can level up their witches by consuming Gold and EXP Orbs both. As we mentioned before, both of these currencies are available abundantly, so do not worry and level up your favorite witches to the max. After every 10 levels, players will also require a new currency called Kindling Orbs to increase the level limit of the witch. Sometimes, increasing the level limit will also give witches access to new skills.

Awaken is one of the best methods to directly increase the rarity of your witches, although it might be considered a bit pay-to-win method. This is strict because to awaken your witches, players will require a duplicate of the witch. At the higher awakenings, players also require 2, 3, and even 5 duplicates of these witches. Granted, that's the reason a pity exists where an SR witch is guaranteed at every 10 summons. Awakening increases the rarity of the witch, in turn, increasing the base stats of the witch as well.

Equipment forms the core of any witch as they provide additional stats to the witch that has them equipped. Equipment in MementoMori: AFKRPG comes in 6 different types. Each slot of equipment is to be filled by one of these types. Here are the different equipment types:
