Pokemon Go: the Festival of Colours with the debut of Oricorio

More Pokémon originally found in the Alola region are coming to Pokémon GO! During the #SeasonOfAlola, look forward to three months of events highlighting Pokémon never before seen in Pokémon GO!

With the Welcome to Alola event recently finishing, Pokémon Go's Season of Alola has been out for a little while.

The Festival of Colors, which begins on March 15 and runs until March 20, is the next Pokemon Go event.

Oricorio, the Dancing Pokemon, will make his debut as part of the Season of Alola. Depending on where they were caught in the world, the Oricorio you encounter will have a variety of styles.

Baile Style Oricorio can be found in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The Americas will see Pom-Pom Style Oricorio, while the African, Asian, Pacific, and Caribbean islands will see Pa'u Style Oricorio, and the Asia-Pacific region will see Sensu Style Oricorio.

The event will include a Collection Challenge, which will reward you with 20,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Oricorio if you complete it.

During the event, the following Pokemon will be appearing more frequently in the wild, and you may even encounter a shiny: Drowzee, Horsea, Gligar, Slugma, Taillow, Trapinch, Turtwig, Croagunk, Fletchling, and Oricorio.

Beautifly, Dustox, and Alomomola may appear if you're lucky.
