New State Mobile introduces a brand new 4×4 map, Akinta
In the most recent update, New State Mobile, the newest game in the PUBG franchise available on both PC and mobile, introduced its latest map Akinta. The map is the third map in the game, following the original Erangle map and the New State-exclusive Troi map, both of which have been present since the game's inception. The new Akinta map combines features of both Erangel and Miramar
Akinta is a 44 map, which means it is 4 kilometers long and 4 kilometers wide. To put this in context, it is the same size as the Sanhok map in PUBG Mobile and PUBG PC for those who have played either of those games, which includes the vast majority of New State players. The map appears to be a cross between two of the most recognizable maps in the PUBG universe, Erangel and Miramar.
The northern side is similar to Erangel's varied terrain with decent cover, while the southern side is similar to Miramar's arid landscape. Akinta will be able to accommodate up to 100 players at any given time, with each match lasting approximately 15 minutes.
Akinta brings new weapons and vehicles to New State Mobile
The Akinta map will have its own exclusive gun, the AK Alfa, which is a modified variation of the classic AKM. The AK Alfa, like its predecessor, will use 7.62mm ammunition and will be compatible with all standard attachments such as a muzzle, scope, magazine, and grip. It also has the highest damage per bullet of any AR currently available in New State Mobile.
The most important weapon patch is the change in the amount of damage dealt by a customized SMG over long distances. This change is being implemented due to an increase in the number of players using SMGs in long-range fights, which is contrary to the purpose of an SMG, which is close-quarters combat. In addition, the KAR98 can now be equipped with a barrel extender, and the bullet velocity of the shotgun S1897 has been increased. The frag grenade and poison grenade have also been balanced.
