NeverAfter introduces Marriages as part of the new Couple System Update

NetEase Games, the online games business of NetEase, Inc., and Guanghe Qiyuan are pleased to announce that it is now possible to marry other players in NeverAfter as part of the game's new Couple System Update. This will allow couples to embark on epic fairy tale journeys as the heroes of their own stories.

Players will be able to marry each other after the release of Couple System Update

When the Couple System Update for NeverAfter is launched, two player characters will be able to marry. Both players must be level 40 or higher and have at least 520 Friendships with each other to qualify. To begin the wedding, one participant must purchase a True Love Silver Ring from the Shop, which will be consumed during the proposal.

To speak to Cupid and make the proposal, the person who wishes to propose must form a team with their betrothed and act as the team leader. If the other player accepts, the proposal is successful and the wedding is set.

If the joyful NeverAfter couple is ready, the players can schedule a wedding with Cupid. When the moment arrives, the couple will be whisked to the Rose Garden for the ceremony. Players can invite friends and clan members to attend the wedding as guests, so the pair does not have to be alone together.

The entire ritual, excluding the waiting time, should take between 5 and 15 minutes. Players can choose between the Luxury Wedding and Extravagant Wedding ceremonies. A Luxury Wedding with a float parade for the newlyweds is also an option.

The Update also brings new limited-time cosmetic items

The Couple System Update also adds new cosmetic items to NeverAfter, some of which are only accessible for a limited period. Costume-White Orchid and Costume-Paeans Rose are available by combining Shards or purchasing them in limited-time bundles.

Couples can now genuinely look the part. The Innocent Love and Awakening of Love Weapon Ornaments, as well as the Back-Seeking Wings series, the Mount-Tour of Day Tide, and the Mount-Tour of Night Tide, are also available at the Lover Shop.
