iLLANG Beginner Guide: Professions and Skills
iLLANG is a social deduction game where players can work together to find the sneaky wolf that's lurking around, but instead of wolf, we just call it Illang. In iLLANG, you can choose any of our 19 unique characters, customize them however you like, and even though some of the characters have references to specific jobs. Work together to find clues about the illang and help the villagers of Koji Village to win!
You can play with up to 20 players in iLLANG, and voice chat is encouraged for a more immersive experience. And remember, iLLANG gives you the ability to take advantage of our cross-play and cross-progression features, so you can play with players from other platforms, and even switch to another device and pick up where you left off!

In this article, MuMu'll introduce the total 19 professions and their skills in iLLANG. Let's get started and be the smartest one next round!
Team Villager
The Villager
- Goal: The villager needs to complete the mission without being eaten by the illang.
- Skill: Unfortunately, the villager does not have any special skill.
The Fortune Teller
- Skill: Check to see if the target of the skill was the illang. If the target is the Fox, they die instantly.
- Note: The skill can be used once per day, starting on Day 2, and 5 times per match.
The Shaman
- Skill: Learn the secrets of the previous Banish Vote and find out if its target was the illang.
- Note: The skill can be used up to 5 times per match.
The Bodyguard
- Skill: Protect 1 player of your choice from being attacked by another player.
- Note: The skill can be used up to 5 times per match.
The Lover
- Skill: Communicate with a random player at night only, and learn each other's true identities.
The Drowned Ghost
- Skill: If you are killed by the illang's Raid skill or eliminated by the Banish Vote, you become a Drowned Ghost and can choose one player to kill.
The Killer
- Skill: If a player kills you, they will also die. If you are eliminated by the Banish Vote, a random player will be eliminated with you too.
The Tough Guy
- Skill: If a player attacks you, you will survive until the next night.
The Middle School Girl
- Skill: If you are attacked by the illang, you can scream to alert all other players of the attack.
The High School Girl
- Skill: Once a Middle School Girl is dead, you can find out if the illang is more than one player and how many are left ny summoning the Middle School Girl through the Bunshinsaba Ritual in the school hallway.
The Deputy
- Skill: You can imprison other players during the night
- Note: The skill can only be used once per day, starting on Day 2, and 5 times per match.
The Raccoon
- Skill: Transform into a random nearby object.
- Note: The skill can be used once per day and up to 5 times per match.
Team Lunatic
The Lunatic
- Skill: If you are eliminated by a Banish Vote within two days of being attacked by the illang, you win.
Team Illang
The Illang
- Skill: Raid the village undetected to emerge victorious.
The Illang Fanatic
- Skill: If the Illang uses the Raid Skill, you can imitate it to attack other villagers once per day. Successfully attacking a villager undetected with the skill will result in victory with the Illang.
Team Fox
The Fox
- Skill: If you are attacked by the Illang, you will not be harmed, but you will discover its identity.
The Swindler
- Skill: Use your Persuasion skills to influence the survivors to help the Fox team win. As sson as the vote is over, the previous Persuation will be reset. Once the Fox's identity is revealed, you can assist them in winning.
- Note: However, if the Fox is killed, you will be killed as well.
