Genshin Impact SEA Carnival 2022: Schedule, Format, Prize pool and more
Genshin Impact players from SEA countries compete in the Warrior's Expedition in the HoYoverse-organized Genshin Impact SEA Carnival 2022. Several Genshin Impact tasks will be completed by selected teams of Travelers from all over Southeast Asia in the invitation-only competition for a prize pool of US $10,000.
There will also be celebrity guests on hand to cheer on the competitors. The second-place team will receive US $2000. The third and fourth-placed teams will each receive $1,000 and each member will receive $1,000 in Primogems. The fifth through eighth-placed teams will each receive US $500, as well as US $500 in Primogems for each member.
Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Burma (Myanmar), Brunei, and Laos are among the countries eligible. There are only 64 registration spots available for the Genshin Impact SEA Carnival. The Genshin Impact SEA Carnival will be broadcast live on several streaming platforms. In addition, viewers will be able to participate in live contests for additional prizes. Genshin Impact SEA Carnival 2022: Schedule and Format
Genshin Impact SEA Carnival registration opened on November 12 and will close on November 24, 2022. The qualifying rounds are scheduled for November 26 and 27. The final round will be held on December 17 and 18, 2022 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The event is a team game in which players and their crew must complete the following objectives in Warrior's Expedition to win. The following are the two events scheduled for the Genshin Impact SEA Carnival:
1. Domain Challenge
In this game mode, the team that is participating will have to complete Domains in the game as quickly as possible. Here the least amount of time will win the event in a ranking. The teams will be challenged on how to formulate the most efficient team with the best teamwork to clear the challenge.
2. Sprint Challenge
The next game mode is also a team race-type game where each team will need to finish a Domain Challenge and then sprint to the designated locations without the use of waypoints. Here the players will be challenged on how creative they will be in not just completing the Domain but also the quickest way possible
Genshin Impact SEA Carnival 2022: Tournament Prizes
The team that completes the Warrior’s Expedition event the quickest will get a monetary award of 4,000 USD as well as bragging rights. The full details of the prizes offered in the tournament are listed as follows:
Champion: 4,000 USD in cash
Runner-up: 2,000 USD in cash
Third and Fourth: 1,000 USD in cash and an additional 1,000 primogems for each member.
Fifth to Eighth: 500 USD in cash and additional 500 primogems for each member.
How to register for the Genshin Impact SEA Carnival 2022
The Genshin Impact SEA Carnival will feature three-person teams. These teams will then embark on Warrior's Expeditions, in which they will complete a predetermined list of tasks in a predetermined order and within a predetermined time frame. Completing Domains and exploring the open world are two examples of these responsibilities.
Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Timor-Leste, and Laos are all eligible to join. Participants must also be at least 18 years old to register.
