Apex Legends Mobile is set to release the New Hyperbeat Event on August 23, 2022

Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have announced the new Hyperbeat event for Apex Legends Mobile. Tomorrow, August 23, 2022, marks the official launch of the Hyperbeat Event, which includes a slew of exciting new features. In addition to everything else, the Hyperbeat Event will include improvements to fundamental systems, a brand-new ranked split, new events, and Legend Crypto. The celebration officially begins on August 23 at 5:00 PM PDT.

Introducing Crypto, a brilliant hacker and encryption expert

Crypto is a skilled hacker and encryption expert who specializes in keeping secrets. Fans may recognize him, but for the uninitiated, he is known as Crypto. His airborne drones are the foundation of his abilities, which have been updated for Apex Legends Mobile so that they can automatically follow Crypto and monitor close foes for extended periods of time.

These drones covertly observe their rivals in the Apex Arena in order to learn their secrets. Crypto, however, is not without his own secrets. He has three key abilities including:

ꔷ Passive: Neurolink – Enemies and traps detected by your surveillance Drone are marked for your squad within 30 meters range.
ꔷ Tactical: Surveillance Drone – Deploy a pilotable drone to surveil your surroundings. The drone detects enemy squads and battlefield hazards.
ꔷ Ultimate: Drone EMP – Your Drone sets off an EMP blast that deals Shield damage, slows enemies, and disables traps.

Crypto also features a set of unique Legend Perks, which include:

ꔷ Self Destruct: Destroyed drones explode after 3s, slowing and damaging enemies caught in the blast.
ꔷ Hidden User: Become semi-transparent when controlling drones.
ꔷ System Scan: Your drone reveals an enemy’s HP and armor after 3s of scanning.
ꔷ Shut Down: Your Ultimate also damages HP but cannot kill an enemy.
ꔷ Lag Bomb: Your drone can launch an EMP bomb that slows and deals damage.
ꔷ Salvage Operation: Your drone can retrieve items.
ꔷ Battle Adaptation:  Using your Finisher adds 100 points to your EVO Shield.
ꔷ Restart: Using your Finisher instantly repairs your drone or reduces your Ultimate cooldown by 30%.
ꔷ Interrogator: Using your Finisher reveals the location of your target’s squad on the mini-map.

Hyperbeat event will bring a new Battle Pass and map updates

Apex Legends Mobile's Kings Canyon improvements will also include a new town takeover in the Pythas Theater, where players must battle their way through Rhapsody's POI-altering song to receive their prize. In addition, Kings Canyon has new VIP supply bins where players can pick up their VIP cards and gain access to crates containing powerful equipment.

With the release of Hyperbeat, Apex Legends Mobile is introducing a new ranked split and more Ranked Rewards. The game will then reset the player's rank in the same way it did at the start of Distortion - that is, similarly to the reset that occurred at the start of the previous season. Higher ranking players will have access to new Ranked prizes as well.
